Legally Binding Limit Value
The Legally Binding Limit Values are presented here. That means that for the different database-versions values from different sources are presented:
- NL-Xtend: Wettelijke Grenswaarde for chemical substances, noise, vibrations and radiation. Indicating if the substance is on the Dutch SZW-list for CMR-substances.
- UK-Xtend: WEL
- FR-Xtend: VLEP
- ES-Xtend: LEP
- EU-Xtend: BLV and IOELV
In each database version always the available reference to the European Derived No-Effect Levels (DNELs) are presented in this box.
As DNEL's can change without notice we advice to check always at the website of ECHA (www.echa.europe.eu; 'Search for Chemicals'; Registered substances database) the up to date value of the DNEL for a specific substance.
If there is no Legally Binding Limit Value for a substance, the column and text box 'Legally Binding' is left blank and a non-legally binding Limit Value is presented, according to the hierarchy of the OELV's for the specific database.
